Maximum Entertainment and Infuse Studio have announced that a demo for Spirit of the North 2 will be available starting 2 October “Foxtober” 2024, ahead of its participation in Steam Next Fest. The sequel to the atmospheric adventure game continues the journey of a lone fox in an overgrown world, with players set to cleanse corrupted ancient animal guardians and confront the dark shaman Grimnir.
In Spirit of the North 2, players will explore environments such as snow-capped mountains, ancient crypts, and dense forests, all rendered in Unreal Engine 5. The game is set to feature new fox customisation options and skill upgrades, offering players the chance to tailor their experience as they work to free the world from a growing ethereal threat.
For those attending Madrid’s Indie Dev Play event, an early demo will be available from September 27-29 at the Tesura Booth, offering a first look before the wider release next month.
