Blizzard Entertainment’s iconic StarCraft titles, StarCraft: Remastered and StarCraft II, will be available through PC Game Pass starting 5 November 2024. Announced by Xbox’s Phil Spencer during the Xbox Showcase as part of TGS 2024, this marks an opportunity for Xbox PC gamers to either relive or experience these real-time strategy (RTS) games at no extra cost to them.
StarCraft: Remastered, originally released in 1998 and updated with enhanced graphics, and StarCraft II, released in 2010, are some of the definitive games in the RTS genre during what was arguably the golden years for the developer. While the multiplayer modes of StarCraft and StarCraft II will remain free-to-play, PC Game Pass members will gain access to the single-player StarCraft: Remastered and the StarCraft II: Campaign Collection as part of their subscription.
