Mining Mechs Set for Multi-Platform Console Launch in Early September

EastAsiaSoft has announced that the side-scrolling resource management simulation and underground exploration game Mining Mechs is scheduled to launch on 4 September 2024. Developed by Delayed Victory and ported to consoles by eastasiasoft, the game will be available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.

Mining Mechs sets out to combine fast-paced action with retro pixel art visuals, offering a blend of resource collection and story-driven objectives. Players take control of various drilling machines, upgrading them to navigate underground environments, uncovering valuable materials, and ultimately transporting these resources back to the surface.

The standard edition of Mining Mechs will be priced at $4.99 USD / €4.99, with a special launch discount of 20% available for a limited time in select regions and on certain platforms. Additionally, players can opt for a bundled version, priced at $6.49 USD / €6.49, which includes the Magnetic Mystery DLC. This downloadable content introduces a new arctic map and an additional storyline.

Strange noises and weird activities have been detected underground and you’ve been called in to help! Mining Mechs is a retro 2D action game presented in fluid pixel art style! Commandeer a high-tech mining mech to dig deep into the earth and collect valuable resources. Sell those resources on the surface to earn money, which you’ll need to upgrade your mech or buy new ones.

Each mech has its own benefits and will help you explore the depths even further. Don’t think your quest will be easy, though. The deeper you get, the tougher it gets! Will you unravel the dark secrets of the underground, or will you come up against challenges that push your digging skills to the limit?

Promoted features of Mining Mechs includes:

  • Drill and blast through the earth to find ores and treasure!
  • Connect pipes to carry valuable resources back to the surface.
  • Use earnings to pay for fuel, supplies, upgrades and new mechs!
  • Meet profit objectives to advance the story.
  • Enjoy retro pixel art aesthetics and multi-directional scrolling mining sites!
