[E3 2016] Hideo Kojima’s PlayStation 4 Exclusive ‘Death Stranding’ Unveiled at E3 2016

When Hideo Kojima moved on from his long running Metal Gear series and making his Kojima Productions studios independent, there was some wonder about what we could expect from this iconic video game designer. Back in December 2015 we heard from Sony Interactive Entertainment (Then, Sony Computer Entertainment) that his first game would be developed as a console exclusive on the PlayStation 4.

The exclusivity remains, with Sony Interactive Entertainment, Kojima Productions and Hideo Kojima himself confirming that Death Stranding is currently in development. This title is being produced, written, directed and designed by Kojima himself, while the lead role will be played by Walking Dead actor Norman Reedus.

Sony Interactive Entertainment are remaining tight-lipped about Death Stranding outside its cinematic teaser trailer, not even confirming a particular gameplay genre. But at least we now a title and have a general idea about a potential concept behind the title.
