Visual novel publisher MangaGamer has continued their partnership with the Japanese creative studio and today released Eve of the 12 Months, a winter-themed title developed by minori. To coincide with the game’s launch, a 10% discount is currently available to purchasers.
The narrative centres around protagonist Furuhata Naoto. While running an errand on Christmas Eve, he encounters a mysterious girl. Although Naoto has no memory of her, she appears to know exactly who he is. This unexpected meeting serves as the catalyst for a series of intertwined stories involving different characters with varied motivations. The overarching plot follows one individual wanting to preserve their shared happiness, another looking for personal gain, and a third who is determined to achieve their objective at any cost.
minori has incorporated several of their standard production elements into this release. Eve of the 12 Months features lip syncing alongside various visual effects designed to enhance the overall presentation. Furthermore, the visual novel includes artwork provided by studio veterans Shouna Mitsuishi, Takasaki Maco, and Yuzuna Hiyo.
While an 18+ visual novel, unlike many of MangaGamer’s western releases, Eve of the 12 Months will still see a level of moasic censoring of content.
