Visual Novel ‘Strawberry Vinegar’ Launches on Steam

“Feed me, or I’ll reap your soul!”
And with those ridiculous words, my whole life was turned upside down.

In a recent announcement by Sekai Project and the development team at Ebi-Hime (Asphyxia, The Way We ALL GO), it has been confirmed that Strawberry Vinegar has been unleashed upon the Steam digital distribution platform. This has been described as a “slice-of-life” title, “filled with food, cute demons, yuri and […] even more food”.

Strawberry Vinegar tells the tale about a cynical and grumpy young girl, Sakuraba Rie. Rie cares little for her fellow classmates and as a result has a difficult time making friends. To top things off, she leads a rather mundane life. However, Rie’s boring life takes a quick and turn unexpected turn when a self-proclaimed demon from the deepest, darkest pits of Hell shows up in her kitchen to swipe a tray of cookies. Rie’s parents are charmed by this mysterious guest, believing her to be a Norwegian exchange student, and they welcome Licia into their home. Rie, meanwhile, is less enthused – primarily due to Licia threatening to reap her soul if she isn’t fed. And so, the unlikely relationship between these two mismatched girls begins

Those following this tale will watch as the relationship between these two young girls develops. The question is… will friendship blossom between them or not?

Strawberry Vinegar is now available on Steam at a fairly reasonable price of $9.99. For a limited time, this price is being slashed by 15%. Check it out for yourself HERE.
