Mary Poppins Broadway Musical Trailer
Following their work on both Jesus Christ Superstar (2014) and Miss Saigon (2015), The Arts Centre Gold Coast are set to present their locally produced production of Mary Poppins in June 2016. After announcing plans as part of their 2016 season launch in November, the company have announced that audition applications are now open for all interested parties to sign up for. This comes simultaneously with them launching single-ticket sales for the show. The Arts Centre Gold Coast are seeking experienced musical theatre performers for the production, and are after those with a high-intermediate singing and dancing ability. They are also after children who will become the Gold Coast’s Jane and Michael Banks.

About Mary Poppins
Mary Poppins is the story of the Banks family who live in a big house in London on Cherry Lane. Things are not going well for the family, the children, Jane and Michael, are out of control and are in need of a new nanny. When a mysterious young woman named Mary Poppins appears at their doorstep, the family finds that she’s the answer to their prayers. Mary Poppins takes the children on many magical and memorable adventures, but Jane and Michael aren’t the only ones she has a profound effect upon.
