International localizer and publisher Sekai Project have announced that they will be bringing the visual novel Ame no Marginal (Rain Marginal / 雨のマージナル) to the western market. This is the latest project from Tomo Kataoka / Stage-nana, who were previously behind the free visual novel Narcissu (Which is currently downloadable through Steam).

Sekai Project will serve as the VN’s localizer, alongside Agilis who served as one of the translators for Narcissu 1st & 2nd. When published, Ame no Marginal will be available through the Steam store at a price of $9.99, with an expected release launch window of somewhere in mid-late 2015. It is also possible to pre-order through the official Sekai Project website for the title, which will give you to both a DRM Free copy and a complementary Steam code for the same price.

Check out a synopsis of Ame no Marginal below:

A serious visual novel telling the story of a man who steps into an elevator, only to find himself transported to a strange and mysterious world. In this world, there is no time, no aging, no hunger, not even death. There is nothing to be seen but weathered stone, white clouds, and endless rain.

The only other person there, Rin, tells him to get out. Just what story is behind someone who has lived alone in this place for untold years, decades, even centuries? Will a day come when the rain finally ends?
