Post-Kickstarter Pledging via BackerKit to Be Slightly Different for The Grisaia Trilogy than CLANNAD

Those who have been following Sekai Project’s Crowdfunding campaign for CLANNAD will know that, provided you donated at least $1 during the Kickstarter period, you will be able to purchase additional tiers and/or add-on’s via BackerKit. Especially coming out of the Christmas period, this was a wise option to allow fans to recuperate some funds before pledging big.

However this is not the only Kickstarter campaign being run by Sekai Project at this time. The visual novel localizer/publisher are also raising money to help bring Frontwing’s The Grisaia Trilogy to western markets. This project is more or less going to eventuate, with Sekai Project having raised $361,500 out of an original goal of $160,000.

As the pledge tiers are considerably more expensive than CLANNAD (With all three games in the trilogy setting you back $80 for digital and $120 for physical), you may be wondering if they will be offering a similar BackerKit offer.

The answer is yes, but with one significant difference. Rather than pledging just $1, you will be required to pledge a minimum of $30. This will grant you access to a digital copy of The Fruit of Grisaia (Visual Novel #1 out of 3) and access to BackerKit to purchase add-ons. This will be something to take into consideration when contemplating a pledge.

There are currently 19 days remaining in the Kickstarter campaign for The Grisaia Trilogy, which is set to conclude on February 1st 2015 at 5:59PM AEST.
