Have you been looking at picking yourself up a copy of Nitroplus / 5pb’s Science Adventure visual novel Steins;Gate, but been waiting for the price to drop down a bit? English-language publisher Jast USA have today announced that a new budget priced release titled Steins;Gate “The Best Edition” is now available for purchase.
Priced at $29.95 for either physical or digital forms, this no-frills package features the entire visual novel with absolutely no DRM. For more information on this title, check out my review HERE. Pick yourself up a copy of the physical edition HERE and the digital edition HERE.
Set in Akihabara, the Mecca of Japanese anime culture, Steins;Gate follows a group of friends who accidentally invent a method of sending messages to the past. Their discovery plunges them into a world of conspiracy and shifting timelines where the push of a button can change the course of history.
OMFG only 29.99! I should pick it up, but wait Windows 10 is coming out next year. Damn I wonder if the title will get a patch in the future for Windows 10?
It is far too soon to tell if Steins;Gate on PC would support Windows 10. Although given this is one of their major titles, it would surprise me if neither Jast USA or 5pb released a patch for it should one be necessary.
