While Little Busters has been fortunate enough to receive not only an original PC release but an eroge re-release, standard re-release based on “Ecstasy Edition”, additional releases on several different game consoles AND an anime series (Not to mention other media releases), its eroge sequel Kud Wafter hasn’t recieved as much attention. Fortunately, the team at Prototype will be re-releasing the game on the Playstation Portable next month as part of their “Converted Edition” series – and should for the first time make the game available as a non-18+ title.
We have had very little in the way of promotional content since the very first announcement (See: Kud Wafter: Converted Edition Heading to the Playstation Portable), but today the company have released the opening sequence for the game. The opening sequence remains relatively faithful to the original PC edition – however replaces some of the CG content that could very will be omitted from this CERO C title with what looks to be some brand new artwork.
In addition, the company have released a handful of new screenshots, offering us some look as to how they have adapted the original PC-exclusive visual novel to the PSP platform. As you may be aware, while this is set in the same world as Little Busters, it only features Riki Naoe, Kudryavka Noumi and Kanata Futaki as part of the core character cast.
