Special Thanks: I would like to thank the PR Team at MangaGamer for providing me with a review sample of this title.

This is the first title provided to me from MangaGamer. It was one of three overall that consisted of a sample of their entire range of games up to this point. I recieved an All-Ages game, a R18+ game that had a more serious storyline and this title, which is a full out eroge. As both other titles are significantly longer in length, I have decided to review this one first as it has less to discuss. I read visual novels for the storylines over seeing the male lead character have sexual relations with the 15th character that day, however I thought I would give this one a shot anyway as it might be something different. I was wrong….

[18+ Review] We Love Master 1

The storyline revolves around Yuuki Toshiya, he is your generic pervert you will find in any High School eroge game. As head of the Yuuki Corporation and president of the student council, he is well respected by his peers due to his good looks and academic ability however deep down he is perverted. After inheriting his fathers company, his fathers brother Iriguchi comes and tries to take the company away from him due to directives for his successful acquisition – one of them being that his must marry within two years. As he only lives with his older maid/servant Ichijou Ema, he decides to do purchase three of his fellow classmates from wealthy families on hard times and then turn them into his slaves… and I do not mean regular maids (This is an eroge after all). Through the use of threats and blackmail, he manages to keep them in his servitude even if they are free to leave at any time.

The three girls in this series are generally your generic characters for a series such as this. The first character is Kuu, the introverted silent type who is the only one who is initially willing to “service” Yuuki. The second character is Sakura who is your normal ditzy and upbeat girl who has a shy personality when it comes to romance and finally there is Hime, the youngest of the three who is your normal yandere character and the only one who really puts up a fight with Yuuki’s antics.

The storyline is nothing serious and to me, the main focus is just to put the character in one sex sequence after the other. Thus, there is no real focus on the underlying story behind Yuuki’s family history or any of the girls other then their goal to service him to the best of their abilities. I enjoy visual novels that include hentai content and don’t even mind the ones that are based solely around them, but it has to have storyline that gives a meaning for there to be the sequences. Unfortunately, I felt that the storyline didn’t live up to what it could have been but instead leaves it as another ero visual novel to appeal to the audience that just wants a big pile of sex scenes. If this is you, then disregard everything I said because you will most probably enjoy this game for them! They do make an attempt at giving some character development to all the characters and it does work well, but still falls short of what I was expecting.

[18+ Review] We Love Master 2

When it comes to the overall design quality, you will be pleased to know that the design quality is overall very high, with only one minor complaint on my part. First of all, the background designs are modern but at the same time are very colourful and will most probably not leave anyone disappointed upon viewing them. Character portraits are also of a good quality and whilst perhaps could use some more clothing choices at time – have a nice variety of expressions and overall well designed. For those who do like their hentai scenes, there are a fair few of them spread out between the four female characters as well as other incidental ones and ones with all four of the girls in them. I don’t actually have a number for how many but I will say “A Lot”, with most of them being dedicated to ero scenes and should have at least one image to cater to most of your fetishes. The one flaw in this series is the decensorship of the images. I think it is safe to say that they are the original designs over actually being decensored but some of the anatomy is creepily off.

[18+ Review] We Love Master 3

The game doesn’t have an extensive tracklist, therefore suffers from repetition frequently. The tracks you do hear however are standard and most probably something you wouldn’t be listening to unless you were listening to the voice acting at the same time. Voice acting on the other hand is actually a strong point in this game. Sure I don’t have much to compare to for visual novels – especially these sorts of novels but I was satisfied in what they delivered. The opening sequence that came with this game was an upbeat song with some suitable animation to go along with it, but was far too focused on the ero elements which shunned me from it a little bit.

[18+ Review] We Love Master 4

The gameplay system was fine, having the normal systems you would expect in any visual novel. However, there was one considerable flaw that I felt needed to be pointed out, at least from my computer. The font had quite a few issues, and after an hour or so of playing around with the fonts – including the fonts I usually use to fix up issues such as this, the best I was able to get is pictured above, with some of the text clustered together or too far apart, it made it rather difficult to adapt into reading. Other then that, it is all good.

As this is a game genre I would not usually focus too much on where the storyline is just sex, sex and more sex, I find it difficult to review for a wider audience. I will personally be putting down my score for this game, but do note that if you are into a series like this, the scores will no doubt be higher then this – as it is a visually pleasing game.

Final Score

Design: B+
Music and Voice Acting: C
Adult Content: Yes
