Zombie Action RPG Stupid Never Dies Launches On PS5 And Steam 21 October

The weakest zombie left on Earth gets his shot at saving the world this week. GPTRACK50’s pop-punk action RPG Stupid Never Dies launches on PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam on 21 October 2026, with Japan following on 22 October 2026. The game see’s players take control of Davy, a timid zombie at the very bottom of monster society, in a single-player 3D action RPG set in an otherworldly dungeon ruled by monsters. Davy’s goal is to bring Julia, a frozen human girl he loves, back to life, while stopping KOM (the King of all Monsters) and the hordes of enemies under his command from destroying the world.

Combat leans into Davy’s undead nature. Rather than dodging, the idea is to keep attacking, since a zombie cannot feel a punch anyway. A flexible targeting system means he is not locked onto one enemy at a time, letting him take on foes coming from every direction.

Progression borrows from roguelikes. Each dive into the dungeon starts Davy at level 1, but enemies defeated in earlier dives increase his growth rate and experience gain exponentially. GPTRACK50 pitches it as a 30-plus hour action RPG in which the maximum level can be reached in just 30 minutes, making for a faster and more intense experience.

Davy’s bite plays a big part too. Using Style Eat, he can chomp on enemies to repair damage to his body and absorb the powers of whatever he eats, including werewolves, harpies and vampires, with more than 11 styles to collect. Over Technology gathered during each dive can be taken to Acelino’s shop and used to modify Davy’s arms, legs and head, unlocking new abilities.

The game also boasts a range of oddities, from interdimensional toilets to a robot vacuum cleaner that Davy can ride, along with a cast of unusual characters and a love story at its centre. Stupid Never Dies is priced at US$49.99 for the Standard Edition, or US$59.99 for the Glorious Idiot Edition. Pre-ordering the Glorious Idiot Edition provides 48 hours of early access, along with the game’s first DLC, the TickTock Teddies: Nonsense Overload Pack.
