Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds has taken to the air. SEGA has launched the Avatar Legends Pack for its kart racer, adding Aang and Katara as playable characters along with a new course and vehicle based on the franchise.
The pack’s arrival is being marked with a limited-time Avatar Legends festival, which runs until 10:59pm AEDT on Monday 19 October. Taking part earns festival points, which can be spent on unlocking decals, gadgets and other items.
Alongside the two characters, the Avatar Legends Pack adds the Gliding Air Vehicle and a new course, Lion Turtle Island. It also comes with five Avatar Legends-inspired music tracks, two of which play during races on the new course, while the other three can only be played through the in-game jukebox.
- Lion Turtle Island (in race)
- Lion Turtle Island: Final Lap (in race)
- Lion Turtle Island: Intro (jukebox only)
- Avatar Legends: Character Select (jukebox only)
- Avatar Legends: Results (jukebox only)
The pack can be bought on its own, and a full Season Pass is also available now with access to further characters, vehicles and courses.
Players who skip the pack will not be locked out of online play. They can still race online against those who own it, including on the Lion Turtle Island course and against Aang and Katara.
Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is available now on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2.
