It is that time of the update schedule when HoYoverse are about to lay out many of the cards they have in store for Genshin Impact Version 7.1: A Rekviem for the Underworld.
The update’s release date and more are due to be locked in on 12 September 2026 at 8am (UTC-4), with the usual assortment of coupon codes and other campaigns also set to be announced.
Presumably offering the second chapter of the new Snezhnaya Archon Quest, this update will also mark the playable debut of two characters: Vodyanitsa, the prima donna of the Korolevskiy Troupe, who wields the power of the Hydro element, and Vesna, the deceptively innocent-looking commander of the Druzhina, who will be obtainable as an Anemo user.
