Separate from its Nintendo Direct reveals earlier today, Square Enix has announced that the HD remasters of FINAL FANTASY X and FINAL FANTASY X-2 – two PlayStation 2 era classics – are heading to Nintendo Switch 2. The two RPGs will arrive together in a single digital-exclusive package on 23 July.
The timing coincides with the 25th anniversary of the original FINAL FANTASY X launch in Japan, which falls this year. Square Enix frames the release as a chance for both returning fans and newcomers to play through the two titles, with the Switch 2 supporting play at home or in handheld mode.
FINAL FANTASY X | X-2 HD Remaster is also available to purchase right now on PlayStation 4, PC, Nintendo Switch and Xbox One.
