The Dutch independent studio Starbrew Games has announced the official launch of its new crafting and exploration title, Duck Side Of The Moon. The game is now available for players on the Nintendo Switch as well as PC through the Steam and Epic Games Store platforms.
Players step into the webbed feet of Doug the Duck, who finds himself stranded in a charming galaxy after a crash landing. The journey involves drifting between small, vibrant planets to gather the resources necessary to repair and improve his spacecraft. Beyond simple repairs, the game encourages players to upgrade their ship into a comfortable living space while crafting various gadgets to assist with their exploration.
Marketed as a wholesome and shorter experience, the narrative follows Doug as he assists local inhabitants, which includes a variety of talkative rocks. These interactions and quests are intended to teach the protagonist about himself while emphasizing the importance of slowing down and finding rest.
In terms of features, the game offers an open world with secrets and rare materials to mine. Players can also customise Doug with a selection of hats and silly outfits. For those looking for specific interactions, the developers have confirmed the inclusion of a dedicated quack button.
Duck Side Of The Moon is currently available for $19.99 USD or local equivalent. A 10 percent launch discount is active for the first two weeks of release on all platforms, concluding on 24 May 2026.
