The Neopets franchise has made its debut on modern gaming hardware with the release of Neopets: Mega Mini Games Collection. The title is now available for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, following a collaboration between developer No Gravity Games, Bolt Production International, and U&I Entertainment.
The collection serves as a compilation of over 25 classic browser games that have been updated with smoother controls and enhanced visuals – this time without the need to play them only to scavenge yourself a few more NeoPoints. While the standard digital edition includes 26 games, such as the newly developed Starlight Symphony, a physical “Treasure Pack” has also been released for console players.
Players can engage with the content through a dedicated Story Mode, which features a fully mapped version of Neopia. Navigation and lore are provided by Nyx, a Neopet companion who acts as the game’s narrator. In addition to the single player experience, the title supports local co-op multiplayer and global leaderboards via the Neopass system.
By connecting via Neopass, players can earn in game currency, cosmetics, and exclusive digital items that can be shared with the wider community. The developers have also outlined plans for ongoing support, including seasonal events, time limited challenges, and future downloadable content.
