Fourth and Final Season Of Oshi No Ko Officially In Production

-

Kadokawa Corporation has officially confirmed that the final season of the anime series Oshi no Ko is in production as of 25 March 2026. This announcement signals the start of the concluding arc for the franchise. Along with the production news, a teaser visual and a special announcement video for Season 4 have been revealed to fans.

The upcoming story arc transitions into a new phase of the narrative, taking place six months after the release of “POP IN 2”. Due to the persistent efforts of MEMcho, the idol group B-KOMACHI is shown to be on the cusp of a major break in the industry. While Aqua is portrayed as steadily growing his presence as a media personality, Akane is advancing her career as a skilled actress. In contrast to their progress, the character Kana Arima has lost her characteristic cheerfulness. A central element of the final season will follow Ruby’s rapid ascent through the entertainment world. Driven by her mission to uncover the facts behind the deaths of Ai and Gorou, she will use lies as her primary weapon to reach her goals.

The final production will feature the return of several key staff members. Daisuke Hiramaki will serve as the director, with series composition by Jin Tanaka and character designs by Kanna Hirayama. The anime continues to adapt the original manga by Aka Akasaka and Mengo Yokoyari, which is published in Shueisha’s Young Jump Comics.

The primary voice cast is also confirmed to return for the conclusion of the series. Takeo Otsuka and Yurie Igoma will voice Aqua and Ruby respectively, joined by Megumi Han as Kana Arima, Manaka Iwami as Akane Kurokawa, and Rumi Okubo as MEMcho.
