The Tekken World Tour Finals 2025 concluded in Malmö, Sweden, with Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe using the event to reveal the future of Tekken 8. Alongside the competitive results, the developer confirmed the upcoming Season 3 content roadmap, which includes the return of several fan favourite fighters to the roster.
The tournament ended with DRX | LowHigh being named the Tekken World Tour Finals 2025 Champion after the final rounds of competition. Following the trophy presentation, the developer announced that Kunimitsu, Bob, and Roger Jr. will be joining the playable cast as part of the next wave of content.
Season 3 is scheduled to officially begin in March 2026. This new phase will introduce a series of balance adjustments across the entire roster and a full rank reset for the competitive ladder. While the season begins in March, the first new fighter, Kunimitsu, is slated for a Late Spring 2026 release.
Players can purchase the Season 3 Pass starting from 10 February 2026. This pass includes access to four planned characters with a 120 hour early access window as each go live, a new stage to be revealed later, and the Aurora Outfit Pack character costume set. The costume pack will be available for download immediately upon purchase of the pass in February.
Beyond the game updates, the structure for the Tekken World Tour 2026 has been established. The new competitive circuit will start in May 2026 at EVO Japan. The season is set to conclude with a final Master Event at Thaiger Uppercut 2026. The calendar features Master+ events at EVO Japan, EVO Las Vegas, and EVO Nice, with specific details regarding standard Master events to be confirmed at a later date.
