One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 Adds Three Fighters In Special Selection Pack DLC

Bandai Namco Entertainment has released the latest content update for ONE PIECE: PIRATE WARRIORS 4, titled DLC 8: Special Selection Pack. This expansion introduces three new playable characters to the game’s roster. The additions to this roster were not selected by the creative team or the developer, but rather democratically via the community.

The first new entrant is Eneru, recognized within the series as the self-proclaimed God of Skypiea. His moveset utilises the lightning-based abilities of the Goro Goro no Mi. In terms of gameplay mechanics, Eneru is designed to build power through aerial offensives. Once sufficient power is accumulated, he can unleash a substantial discharge via a ground charge attack.

Joining him is King, a Lunarian and All-Star of the Beast Pirates. King’s combat style is characterised by the use of flames and physical strength. Players can operate him in a humanoid form to deliver attacks using swords, fists, and kicks. Alternatively, his beasthuman form allows for area-of-effect attacks, utilising his wings to sweep across the battlefield.

The final addition is Z, a former Marine Admiral turned rebel leader. Z employs Armament Haki and heavy weaponry to engage opponents. His fighting style is described as versatile, offering smash attacks for close-quarters combat and ranged fire for distant targets. Notably, Z possesses a unique mechanic where knocking enemies back triggers a powered-up state which strengthens his subsequent Charge Attack.

ONE PIECE: PIRATE WARRIORS 4 and the new DLC content are currently available across a wide range of platforms. These include the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch, and the Nintendo Switch 2.
