Wright Flyer Studios has announced a significant extension to the current collaboration event between their mobile JRPG Another Eden: The Cat Beyond Time and Space and Square Enix’s classic title Chrono Cross. The crossover event, titled ‘Complex Dream’, was previously scheduled to conclude in late 2026 but has now been extended through to 8 December 2031.
In addition to the prolonged availability of the event, the developers revealed that a content update scheduled for February 2026 will expand the crossover. This update will introduce Glenn from Chrono Cross as a new playable character. The patch will also implement new sub-quests related to the collaboration.
Existing characters from the 1999 RPG who are already present in Another Eden, including Serge, Kid, Harle, and Starky, will receive updates in February as well. These characters will become available for Stellar Awakening, a system that generally unlocks new abilities and increases the level cap for units.
The ‘Complex Dream’ event takes place in an alternate timeline where the Another Eden protagonist, Aldo, fails to defeat the Beast King. This narrative premise allows the cast of Chrono Cross to enter the world and join the player’s party.
Prior to the February expansion, a separate update is scheduled for this coming Thursday. This update will release the ‘Another Style’ version of the character ‘Porcelain Pixie’ Myunfa (voiced by Sarah Ovens). Additionally, the character Claude (voiced by Rory Fleck Byrne) will have his 5-star ‘Armiger’ class made available for Stellar Awakening.
Another Eden: The Cat Beyond Time and Space is available on PC via Steam, iOS via the App Store, and Android via Google Play.
