To coincide with the games’s upcoming release on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and Windows PC – publisher XSEED Games has shared a new localised version of the original 1999 theme song for Milano’s Odd Job Collection. Titled “Colors”, the track is performed by Kayli Mills, who provides the voice for the protagonist Milano. The video is presented as a 1990s-style sing-a-long and features gameplay clips demonstrating various tasks available in the game.
Milano’s Odd Job Collection follows the story of 11-year-old Milano. When her mother is hospitalized, she is sent to stay with her uncle for the summer, only to find he is away on vacation. Left to manage on her own for 40 days, Milano takes on various part-time jobs throughout the town. Players will engage in activities such as delivering pizzas, nursing sick patients and milking flying cows to help Milano earn money and maintain her uncle’s home.
The upcoming release includes several updates to the original pixel-art game. Emulation has been handled by Implicit Conversions to support modern resolutions. The title also features trophies and achievements, save states and a rewind feature. Language options include fully localized English text and dual-audio support for both Japanese and English voices.
