Following its release on PC servers for the game last month, ZeniMax Online Studios has rolled out The Elder Scrolls Online: Seasons of the Worm Cult Part 2 on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. The new chapter continues the story that began with Part 1 in June, sending players into the grim region of Eastern Solstice to confront the Worm Cult one final time.
Part 2 serves as the climax of the 2025 Worm Cult saga, described as a follow up to ESO’s original main storyline that has been building over the last decade. Once players gain access to Eastern Solstice, they can explore areas that were previously blocked by the Writhing Wall, facing new world bosses, delves and a public dungeon while uncovering fresh threats and mysteries on the besieged island. Access to the new region and storyline is not automatic. Entry requires that the Battle for the Writhing Wall event has been successfully concluded on the player’s chosen server, with progress and status tracked via an online event page.
Launching alongside the new content is the Update 48 base game patch, available free to all players. This update introduces a range of fixes, balance changes and system improvements, including adjustments to the leaderboard system and the addition of a brand new in game event. The New Life Festival is also confirmed to return in December as part of the ongoing seasonal schedule.
Seasons of the Worm Cult Part 2 is included as part of the 2025 Content Pass and the 2025 Premium Edition.
