Ubisoft has released Just Dance 2026 Edition on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, with the game also playable on Nintendo Switch 2 via backwards compatibility.
This year’s entry features 40 new tracks that span recent chart hits and classics. Headliners include Abracadabra by Lady Gaga, Houdini by Dua Lipa, Good Luck, Babe by Chappell Roan, Feather by Sabrina Carpenter, Thrift Shop by Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, Viva la Vida by Coldplay and more. Seasonal staples like Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree also feature alongside family picks such as a newly crafted Bluey Medley from the hit Australian children’s show.
On the note of the Bluey Medley, produced in tandem with BBC Studios and Ludo Studios, it is hoped that families can dance along with Bluey, Bingo and the Heelers in a routine aimed at younger players while keeping the series’ coach choreography structure intact.
Party Mode debuts as a quick hit option for solo players or up to six dancers locally. Set inside Dr. Gigavolt’s Lab, short songs layer in visual and action disruptors that test timing and reflexes. Difficulty settings and flexible session lengths make it easy to tailor the challenge, and the mode works across libraries from Just Dance 2023 through 2026, Music Packs and Just Dance+.
The hands free Camera Controller mode finally exits beta and is now officially supported. Using the Just Dance Controller app, a compatible iOS or Android smartphone becomes a full body motion input, comparing the player’s moves to the on screen coach to score accuracy. The feature is single player only at launch and requires iOS 14.4 or later or Android 9 or later.
Rounding out the package, local multiplayer for up to six players returns alongside Workout Mode for calorie tracking and Challenge Mode for online competition. Together with Just Dance+ access, Ubisoft positions the 2026 Edition as a broad refresh that adds new ways to play while keeping series staples available for returning dancers.
As a small added bonus, each copy also includes a one month Just Dance+ subscription that unlocks hundreds of additional songs, while the Ultimate Edition bundles a twelve month Just Dance+ subscription.
