HoYoverse has announced that Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.7, titled As Tomorrow Became Yesterday, will release on 5 November 2025. The update marks the finale of the Amphoreous storyline and adds new playable character Cyrene alongside a new large scale permanent mode and time limited events.
The climax sees the Astral Express working with the Chrysos Heirs to confront Irontomb in the Ruins of Time, a desolate arena marked by drifting gravel, a colossal sword embedded in the planet, and a statue resembling Phainon. Three layers of seals left by Phainon must be broken to bring the threat to an end. The conflict extends beyond Destruction and Erudition as Remembrance stirs, prompting a wider Cosmic Alliance to form.
Cyrene debuts as a 5 star Ice character on the Path of Remembrance. From the outset of Amphoreous she has accompanied the Trailblazers in various forms, and in Version 3.7 she opens up about her past and motives. Her combat systems include:
Teamwide buff: When Cyrene is in the party, all allies deal increased DMG.
Skill and Zone: Her Skill deploys a Zone that triggers an extra instance of True DMG whenever an ally damages an enemy.
Recollection and Ultimate: Teammate actions build Recollection. At full stacks, Cyrene can use her Ultimate, entering her strongest state. The first time she Ultimates, all teammates immediately activate their Ultimates and her Zone becomes permanent.
Memosprite Cyrene: Cyrene then summons a memosprite version of herself that can enhance a chosen teammate. Chrysos Heirs receive an additional exclusive effect. The memosprite can take turns to either buff allies or deal damage to all enemies.
Version 3.7 introduces Currency Wars as a permanent large scale mode that lets players assemble teams of up to ten characters, divided into on field and off field roles that act in concert. When characters of the same combat type or belonging to the same faction fight side by side, special Bond effects activate to enhance team synergy. At launch, 61 characters will be available as free trials. The mode includes challenge rewards and a periodic reward system similar to Divergent Universe, with additional challenges and growth options planned through updates.
Limited time content also arrives with Snack Dash, a lighthearted competition where Madam Ruan Mei’s creations race across obstacle filled tracks for rankings and prizes. The new Trailblaze Fashion system expands cosmetic customisation, and players can earn the limited headwear Deliverer’s Wreath for free by completing the version’s Main Missions.
