Blizzard Entertainment has dated the next limited time remix for World of Warcraft, confirming that Legion Remix will begin on 8 October 2025. Framed around Eternus and the Infinite Dragonflight’s latest dive into Azeroth’s past, the event revisits the Legion expansion and condenses it into a faster paced, alt friendly progression track.
Players will create a Timerunner using any of the original 12 Legion classes, then replay the expansion at an accelerated pace with several new twists. Core progression is anchored by remixed artifact weapons that act as a unified power system across all classes. Traits can be unlocked along five paths themed around nature, fel, arcane, storm, or holy.
A new World Tier option, Heroic, raises the difficulty of open world content. Rare enemies and world quests can be scaled up for players seeking tougher encounters and improved rewards.
Mythic+ fans can push Legion dungeons using Timeworn Keystones. Familiar affixes from the original expansion return alongside new variants, with the event’s steep power growth inviting high-end experimentation.
Account flexibility has also been expanded. All modern WoW players receive five additional character slots, making room for more Timerunners. In a change from the previous Mists of Pandaria Remix, Timerunner characters can be transferred to The War Within at any time rather than only at the end of the event.
Legion Remix rounds things out with an array of rewards, including Legion-themed gear, pets, and mounts, plus new items created specifically for this event.
