Marvelous Europe has released Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion, bringing the once Nintendo Switch exclusive series’ dark sci-fi action to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC via Steam. Players step into the shoes of an outer piloting a customizable Arsenal in an open world that supports solo play or online co-op for up to three players, with cross-play available.
The Titanic Scion experiences aim to center on fast movement and flexible loadouts. Players can scavenge weapons and gear from defeated foes, upgrade skills to expand options in combat, and take on titanic boss encounters alone or with two others online. The sequel is created and produced by Kenichiro Tsukuda, with mechanical designs by Shoji Kawamori, and is developed by Marvelous First Studio. Marvelous Europe is publishing in Europe, Marvelous Inc. in Asia and Marvelous USA in the Americas.
A launch trailer highlights high-speed mech combat, large-scale enemies and story beats tied to the Reclaimers’ fight against the Axiom. Meanwhile, Marvelous also debuted a gameplay video focused on “Sovereign Axiom Special Facilities.” These dungeon-like areas are scattered across the map and offer higher risk and reward. Players can seek out rarity-tier key cards to increase potential loot, and can trade cards with friends online.
Post-launch support begins on 2 October with a free update that adds the rematch mission Battle Grausam RT: Ω to the base’s Rematch Simulator. Clearing it unlocks new development equipment. Additional free cosmetics are planned, with more details on Digital Deluxe and Super Digital Deluxe content to follow.
Digital options include a Standard Edition, a Digital Deluxe Edition that adds the Special Weapon SFX Set and Arsenal Skin Set at launch plus the Into the Abyss expansion and two outfit sets after launch, and a Super Digital Deluxe Edition that bundles all of the above with a digital art book and soundtrack. Suggested pricing is €69.99, €89.99 and €99.99 respectively (or local equivalent).
