The Elder Scrolls Online’s newest dungeon pack, Feast of Shadows, and the free Update 47 base-game patch are now live on PC and Mac, and are included with ESO’s 2025 Content Pass. Xbox and PlayStation players meanwhile will have to wait a little longer, and are set to receive both on 3 September 2025. Bethesda has released an overview trailer showcasing the new content and features.
Feast of Shadows ties into the ongoing Seasons of the Worm Cult saga and introduces two four-player PvE dungeons on the island of Solstice. Black Gem Foundry and Naj-Caldeesh each feature their own storyline, boss encounters and rewards, sending parties to battle necromancers and shut down soul-stealing manufactories as the narrative builds toward the server-wide Writhing Wall Event later this year. The dungeon pack is available through ESO Plus, the 2025 Content Pass and the 2025 Premium Edition.
Launching alongside the DLC, Update 47 adds several long-requested quality-of-life features to the base game. Mount Swimming enables riders to remain mounted while traversing water. Inventory management gets a boost with Stackable Survey Reports to reduce clutter. Players can also replay quest dialog, benefit from compass improvements and more minor tweaks that round out the patch.
