In another announcement from the team at GameMill Entertainment, they have confirmed that in coordination with developer Cradle Games and Universal Products & Experiences, Fast & Furious: Arcade Edition will be released on the PC, Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5 on 24 October 2025. Inspired by Universal Pictures’ long-running film franchise, this is a home adaptation of the original arcade racer.
The console version seeks to retain the series’ emphasis on high speed, cinematic racing with drifting, nitro boosts and precision driving. Players can tackle all tracks from the arcade release either solo or in two player split-screen local multiplayer. Races feature destructible scenery, branching routes and hidden shortcuts that can change a leaderboard in a heartbeat, rewarding those willing to take risks.
Several licensed vehicles are confirmed, including the Dodge Charger, Corvette Z06, Shelby GT500 KR, Ford GT, Bronco DR and Jeep Wrangler, with additional cars to be revealed. Cosmetic options allow custom colour schemes so players can personalise each ride on the grid.
Beyond traditional races, the game includes objective based challenges set across the globe. Examples cited include intercepting a missile in the Swiss Alps and forcing a plane to ground in Hong Kong, aiming to capture the over-the-top spectacle associated with the brand.
