Battlefield fans have their first chance to dive into the latest entry in the series, with what is being touted as the biggest Battlefield Open Beta to date across two weekends: 9-11 August and 14-18 August 2025. The Open Beta promises a broad selection of maps, modes, and features, and is open to both seasoned players and newcomers eager to test out new gameplay systems ahead of launch.
Participants can jump in and squad up, explore a variety of game modes, and try out Closed Weapons, all while working towards exclusive rewards ahead of the full release. The event seeks to serve as an early hands-on with the game’s new content, and offers a preview of what players can expect when Battlefield 6 launches.
Those who missed out on Early Access codes last week have another opportunity: by watching 30 minutes of any creator streaming Battlefield 6 on Twitch between August 7–8, fans can unlock Early Access to the Open Beta. Additional details on code redemption are available via official channels.
Twitch viewers can also earn a set of exclusive cosmetic rewards through Twitch Drops during the Beta period. By tuning in to participating streamers between 7-11 August and 14-18 August, players will have the chance to unlock the following in-game items:
