During the 2025 Summer Game Fest showcase, developer SMG Studio joined forces with the LEGO Group and new publishing label Fictions to announce LEGO Party!, a new multiplayer-focused title scheduled to launch later this year. The game is planned for release on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Nintendo Switch.
Pitched as a party game designed for both solo and group play, LEGO Party! invites players to customise their own LEGO minifigure and jump into a wide variety of fast-paced minigames. Whether teaming up or competing locally or online via cross-platform multiplayer for up to four players, the experience centres around collecting Golden Bricks and outlasting the competition in a series of light-hearted challenges.
The game will feature over 60 minigames inspired by classic LEGO sets, drawing from well-known themes such as LEGO Pirates, LEGO Space, and LEGO Ninjago. These minigames are grouped into themed Challenge Zones, each filled with slapstick action and cartoonish absurdity designed to appeal to players of all ages.
Executive Producer at Fictions, Evan Icenbice, commented on the nature of the project and the partnership with the LEGO Group:
We are thrilled to be working with the LEGO Group on this playful and vibrant party game that encourages connection, creativity and of course, competition. LEGO is known for bringing people of all ages together to play and that is certainly the case for LEGO Party!.
