GIANTS Software has confirmed that Farming Simulator: Signature Edition will be arriving on Nintendo Switch 2 this summer, delivering an new version of the long-running simulation series tailored for Nintendo’s next-generation console.
Based on the recently released Farming Simulator 25, this edition is designed to offer a broad and accessible farming experience. Players can manage every aspect of agricultural life—cultivating crops, raising animals, managing forests, and overseeing production chains and construction projects. The game will include three maps based on regions in North America, Europe, and East Asia, each offering unique crops and conditions. This is a change in direction compared to the Nintendo Switch, which has historically received revised editions of the mobile games in the series – most recently Farming Simulator 23.
The Signature Edition will feature over 400 licensed machines from more than 150 real-world agricultural brands, including John Deere, Fendt, CLAAS, Kubota, and Case IH. A new brand, yet to be announced, will also join the roster. In total, players can farm 25 crop types, ranging from familiar staples like wheat and sunflowers to region-specific varieties such as rice and spinach. Greenhouse crops and forestry options are also included, alongside livestock ranging from sheep and goats to water buffalo.
