Turn 10 Studios and Microsoft Game Studios have announced the launch of Update 15 for Forza Motorsport. This latest update brings four weeks of “Australia Month” events to the game, highlighting iconic Australian racing culture and new gameplay features.
In the Career mode, players can experience the Australia Tour, showcasing the country’s rich motoring history. This includes racing on the legendary Mount Panorama Circuit, home to the Bathurst 1000 endurance race, and exploring Australian-made sport utes which blend utility with performance.
For multiplayer enthusiasts, the Forza AUS Series in Featured Multiplayer offers high-performance V8-powered supercars with exclusive access to Mount Panorama for the duration of Australia Month. Rolling Starts have been expanded to additional Spec Series, while the Nordschleife and Nürburgring – Full Circuit have been added to select Open Series events.
Update 15 introduces faster transitions in Spectate and Replay modes, replacing black loading screens with quick fades when switching camera types or cars in focus. Loading screens will now only appear when moving between streaming zones, such as jumping across a large track, though performance may vary for PC players depending on their system specifications. Safety Ratings have also been refined, with adjustments to reduce severe fluctuations and better reflect a player’s overall racing history. Additionally, the number of races used to calculate Safety Ratings has increased from 20 to 50, building on previous improvements. Other updates include aligning Forza GT Division cars in the Showroom with their corresponding Featured Multiplayer Divisions, addressing an issue where AI drivers were unaffected by wet tracks during variable weather events, and improving Drivatar AI to minimise erratic braking behaviours near players.
