Fallout 76 has received its latest update, Gleaming Depths, introducing a new endgame activity for players on all platforms. Available for free, this update brings Raids to the game, where teams of four descend into a long-abandoned Enclave laboratory deep underground. Once a site of Ultracite research, the lab is now overrun with dangers that require tactical builds, teamwork, and strategic planning to survive.
Players will face formidable new foes, including Fallout’s largest boss yet, The Ultracite Terror, a mutated monstrosity lurking in the depths. The raid aims to provide players with challenging encounters and deadly adversaries, pushing players to their limits as they explore the mysteries of this hidden facility.
In addition to the raid, the update expands the Legendary System to include 4-Star items, offering new weapons, armour, and mods as rewards. Gleaming Depths also debuts Player Titles and C.A.M.P. Pets, allowing players to show off their accomplishments and welcome new companions to their camps.
The launch of Gleaming Depths coincides with the release of Season 19: The Scientific Forge. This season invites players to delve deeper into the lore of the Enclave, a clandestine faction led by the AI supercomputer M.O.D.U.S., while unlocking new rewards tied to its scientific ambitions.
Fallout 76: Gleaming Depths is now available on the PC via Steam, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4. The game is also accessible at no extra cost to subscribers of Xbox Game Pass and PlayStation Plus Extra subscription services.
