Ubisoft has announced that Star Wars Outlaws is now available on Steam, joining its existing platforms including Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC via Ubisoft Connect, Epic Games Store, and Amazon Luna. Alongside this release, the game’s first story pack, Star Wars Outlaws: Wild Card, has also launched, offering players new narrative content set in the galaxy far, far away.
In Wild Card, players take on a mission with Kay as she infiltrates a high-stakes Sabacc tournament, encountering the charming and enigmatic Lando Calrissian. However, Kay quickly discovers there is more at play than a simple card game. Access to the story pack requires completion of the base game’s Gunsmith and The High Roller quests. The story pack is free for Star Wars Outlaws Season Pass holders and can also be purchased separately for $22.95 AID.
Ubisoft has also rolled out the TU1.4.0 update, introducing several improvements to gameplay:
- Enhanced options for stealth and combat, including greater flexibility in syndicate territories.
- Improved enemy AI with tactical behaviours, better use of cover, and new detection alerts.
- Enemy weak points for more strategic combat, with opportunities for explosions and dramatic takedowns.
- Adjustments to Kay’s blaster and weapon pickups, enabling their use in additional scenarios such as climbing or grappling.
- Refinements to dialogue animations, visibility enhancements for distant objects, and the option to toggle off the cinematic lens.
