Ravensburger has released the latest expansion for the Disney Lorcana Trading Card Game, Azurite Sea, now available at local game stores across Australia and New Zealand.
The Azurite Sea expansion introduces glimmers of pirates and inventors, central to an ongoing quest to repair the Great Illuminary. For the first time, characters from Big Hero 6—including Baymax, Hiro Hamada, and others—join the game. Additionally, fan favourites from Chip ’n’ Dale Rescue Rangers, such as Chip, Dale, and Gadget Hackwrench, also make their debut. All cards in the set can be integrated with existing Disney Lorcana TCG decks, offering compatibility with earlier expansions: The First Chapter, Rise of the Floodborn, Into the Inklands, Ursula’s Return, and Shimmering Skies.
The story of Azurite Sea builds on the events of Shimmering Skies, with the Illumineers continuing their efforts to repair the damaged Great Illuminary. This quest takes them across the dangerous Azurite Sea, where they seek the owner of a hidden inkcaster discovered in Ursula’s Return. Guided by a mysterious owl symbol connected to maps of the region, the Illumineers hope to find an experienced ally who can teach them critical skills for restoring the Illuminary. Meanwhile, Jafar remains determined to rule over the realm and continues his search for the other half of the powerful Hexwell Crown.

In addition to its cards, Azurite Sea introduces new play accessories, including playmats featuring Elsa from Frozen and Donald Duck in his Buccaneer form. Players can also acquire card sleeves and deck boxes adorned with Scar from The Lion King and Winnie the Pooh in his Hunny Wizard persona. A special Stitch Collector’s Gift Set will also launch in time for the holiday season, including a Stitch-themed portfolio, four booster packs, and a unique “Stitch-Alien Buccaneer” water foil promo card. This marks the first appearance of a water-inspired foil treatment in the Disney Lorcana TCG, offering a distinctive addition for collectors and fans alike.
