GIANTS Software has announced that Farming Simulator 25 has achieved the most successful launch in the history of the franchise. Released on 12 November for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and PC, the agricultural simulation has purportedly sold two million copies in its first week, surpassing the 1.5 million copies sold by Farming Simulator 22 in the same timeframe.
Boris Stefan, Head of Publishing at GIANTS Software, reflected on the milestone, sharing:
When our ambitious self-publishing journey started with Farming Simulator 22, we were already overjoyed by the resonance of our unique, engaged, and passionate community. Farming Simulator 25 marks our most successful launch yet and proves that our bond with the community has grown even stronger. Their enthusiasm and support is not only at the heart of our success, but a driving force behind our continued commitment to delivering an unparalleled and satisfying farming experience. The launch was just the start for FS25.
GIANTS Software has confirmed ongoing support for Farming Simulator 25 with regular updates, free content patches, and expansions. The Year 1 Season Pass—available now—will grant access to three official content packs and a major expansion upon their release. In addition to official content, player-created mods will be featured on the in-game ModHub, with the development team actively testing and curating user submissions.
