Toei Animation to Celebrate Dragon Ball, One Piece, and Digimon at NYCC 2024

Toei Animation has confirmed they will be returning to New York Comic Con (NYCC) in 2024 with a focus on three of its franchises: Dragon Ball, One Piece, and Digimon. The studio’s presence at this year’s event includes celebrity guest panels, fan experiences, and exclusive merchandise available at their exhibit booth (#2635). The event highlights Toei Animation’s continued commitment to celebrating its legacy of globally beloved anime series.

One of the major attractions at the Toei Animation booth will be two pop-up shops. Returning to NYCC, the Toei Animation x Dim Mak Pop-Up Shop offers a curated selection of One Piece merchandise, including NYCC-exclusive items such as the Straw Hats crew puffer tote bag, Egghead Luffy skate deck, and enamel pin collection. For the first time at NYCC, the Mugiwara Store Pop-Up Shop will make its debut, featuring One Piece merchandise formerly exclusive to Japan, including several items from the newly opened Harajuku location. Fans attending NYCC can visit these pop-up shops daily throughout the event during regular show hours to purchase exclusive and limited-edition items. Additionally, attendees will have the opportunity to take part in various interactive experiences, such as viewing the Luffy GEAR2 balloon installation.

In terms of programming, Toei Animation’s panels and opportunities will span across Thursday 17 October 2024 and Friday 18 October 2024, with the booths to also feature on the Saturday and Sunday. More specifics can be found below:
