Sony Interactive Entertainment and Team Asobi has begun rolling out new (and free) Astro Bot content, with a series of brand-new speedrun levels rolling out over the next few weeks. As of writing, players can dive into the first of five new levels, BUILDING SPEED.
In the first chapter of this speedrun content – Building Speed – players can look forward to blasting through a city high in the sky with the help of Barkster the bulldog booster, dodging cranes, smashing crates, and even speeding through a flying car wash to rescue their stranded crew. Each of the new speedrun levels will introduce two special bots for players to find and rescue.
A new speedrun level will be released each week, with all levels featuring leaderboards to track and compare your performance with friends. The schedule for upcoming releases is as follows (AEDT):
- 18 Oct: BUILDING SPEED (Now Available)
- 25 Oct: LET IT SLIDE
- 1 Nov: SPRING-LOADED RUN
- 8 Nov: HELIUM HEIGHTS
- 15 Nov: RISING HEAT
Astro Bot is now available to purchase on the PlayStation 5.
