Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe and Reflector Entertainment have revealed “A Light Lies Within,” the theme song for their upcoming video game Unknown 9: Awakening. The song is co-composed and performed by American singer BANKS and is now available alongside a music video that showcases the game’s protagonist, Haroona, and her journey around the world.
The track reflects Haroona’s quest for truth and her inner strength, aligning with the overarching themes of the game. The music video retraces key moments of her story, set to the rhythm of BANKS’ evocative lyrics and performance.
In Unknown 9: Awakening, players take control of Haroona, a young woman with a unique connection to the Fold, a hidden dimension intertwined with our own. As she learns to harness its powers, Haroona embarks on a global journey to protect this knowledge from those who seek to misuse it.
The game is scheduled to launch on 18 October 2024 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
