Nippon Ichi Software America has revealed that Phantom Brave: The Lost Hero will be launching on 30 January 2025, for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5, with a Steam release planned to follow later in 2025. Pre-orders for the Phantom Brave: The Lost Hero Limited Edition, exclusive to the NIS Online Store, are now open. This Limited Edition includes a Deluxe Edition copy of the game, an art book, a soundtrack, an acrylic diorama stand, and a coaster.
Additionally, NIS America has announced that Phantom Brave: The Hermuda Triangle Remastered will be coming to PlayStation 5 on 7 November 2024. This remastered edition allows players to relive the original adventure of Marona and her Phantom companion, Ash – in addition to a new chapter developed following the game’s initial PlayStation 2 release. You can see the official trailer for this remastered release below:
The original Phantom Brave is a classic I enthusiastically recommend to those looking for a classic Nippon Ichi Software RPG experience, and provided the remastering is done well, is something I hope I can continue recommending given the increased accessibility on the PlayStation 5.
