Announcing something that is… something quite unique, a collaboration between publisher Devolver Digital and Australian developer Massive Monsters will see two Australian couples are set to tie the knot in legally binding ceremonies during PAX Australia 2024. The event, titled Unholy Matrimony – a Cult of the Lamb Wedding, will see the couples exchange vows in front of a life-size replica of the Cult of the Lamb Temple, as well as attendees at the gaming exhibition.
The weddings will take place at 11 am and 3 pm on Sunday, 13 October 2024, with the ceremonies legally legally recognised by the Victorian Government, and according to organisers, will also have the symbolic blessing of “the Lamb” from the game. The replica temple will be set up next to the Handheld Lounge and the entrance to the Main Theatre, providing ample space for fans to gather and celebrate the occasion.
In addition to the weddings, the Cult of the Lamb Temple will serve as a key attraction at PAX Australia on Friday and Saturday (11-12 October). Visitors will have the opportunity to attend various panels and presentations, experience the latest update for Cult of the Lamb titled Unholy Alliance, purchase themed merchandise, and take photos at the Temple.

Last year, we threw an epic rave at Federation Square, and over 6,000 people showed up. So, we thought, how do we top that this year? Easy… wedding rituals!
We’re definitely dialing up the crazy, but it’s all for you, our amazing fans. The love you’ve shown for our game has been incredible, and now it’s time to spread that love. And what better way to do that than by legally marrying two awesome couples?
