THQ Nordic has announced that Darksiders II Deathinitive Edition will be launching on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on 15 October 2024. This remastered edition of the 2012 action-adventure title will come with significant enhancements, including 4K resolution, ray tracing, and improved lighting and shadows, designed to take full advantage of current-gen hardware.
For PlayStation 5 players, the DualSense controller’s haptic feedback will be supported, allowing players to feel every strike made by the game’s protagonist, Death. In addition, faster loading times, enabled by SSD technology, aims to provide a smoother, more seamless gameplay experience compared to earlier releases.
The upgraded Deathinitive Edition will be available for $29.99 / €29.99 (or local equivalent), but players who purchase or pre-order by October 14th can enjoy a 50% discount.
