Marvelous Europe and regional distributor Five Star Games have announced that Nihon Falcom’s remastered classic, Ys Memoire: The Oath in Felghana, will be released in Australia for the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5 in early 2025.
Ys Memoire: The Oath in Felghana revisits the RPG classic initially released as Ys III: Wanderers From Ys and later re-released as Ys: The Oath in Felghana. This updated version brings improved visuals to modern platforms while preserving the core gameplay and charm that fans have cherished.
The game follows the thrill-seeking protagonist Adol and his blue-haired companion Dogi as they return to Dogi’s homeland of Felghana. In their eight-year absence, the lands have been plagued by roaming monsters, an active volcano, and a new overlord extorting the suffering residents. While Dogi seeks assistance from his former master, Adol remains to aid the locals, finding himself entangled in a world of conspiracies and ancient legacies.
Featuring remastered high-definition visuals and music, the game seek to offer an enhanced experience for both new players and returning fans. Additional features include multiple versions of the soundtrack, accessibility options, and new character illustrations, making Ys Memoire: The Oath in Felghana the definitive edition of this acclaimed title.
