PAX West 2023: September Event Expanded to Feature Nintendo Live

Taking place once again at the newly expanded Seattle Convention Centre, event organisers ReedPop and Penny Arcade has confirmed that PAX West is officially scheduled for the labor Day Weekend from Friday 1 September 2023 until Monday 4 September 2023 inclusive. The event is set to utilise both the new summit and original arch buildings, and will also play host to Nintendo Live 2023, a celebration of the company’s games and worlds.

The new Summit building of the Seattle Convention Center is set to provide additional space for exhibitors to showcase their latest titles, the hosting of PAX Arena tournaments featuring popular content creators and rising esports stars, and various vendors. The original Arch building, just a block and a half away, will continue to host a variety of events and activities, including panels, concerts, tournaments, tabletop sections, and more. A full list of exhibitors and a schedule of events will be announced in the coming weeks.

Curious about Nintendo Live 2023? This event will be held in a dedicated section of the Seattle Convention Center and will feature Nintendo Switch gameplay, live stage performances, gaming tournaments, photo opportunities, event merchandise, and more. The event is designed to be family-friendly, welcoming attendees of all ages and gaming experience levels.

PAX West badge holders with a Nintendo Account will have the opportunity to register for a free ticket to Nintendo Live 2023 through a separate promotion on the PAX West website. The promotion will be available during the badge checkout process from 31 May 2023, when badges go on sale, until 7 July 2023 at 11:59 PM PT. It is important to note that a PAX West badge alone does not guarantee entry to the Nintendo Live event.

Following PAX West, the 2023 event schedule will conclude with PAX Unplugged at the Philadelphia Convention Center from 1 December 2023 until 3 December 2023. The tabletop gaming convention will once again feature beloved and unannounced titles, expert panels, and a massive show floor expo with many big names in analog gaming.

Residing in Australia? Don’t fret about needing to travel over to the United States, as we still have PAX Aus taking place from 6-8 October 2023 at the MCEC, Melbourne.
