WB Games’ MultiVersus Opening Cinematic Hints at Promising Free-to-Play Fighting Game Ahead
Tie-in games with major film/animation franchises, especially on the free-to-play end of the spectrum, are inconsistent when it comes to actual gameplay quality. With the launch of the game's Closed Alpha test, we are starting to see that WB Games' MultiVersus could be a shining gem in the F2P game market. Take a look at the game's opening cinematic in the trailer to the left, showcasing many unlikely duos (Shaggy and Batman anyone?) duking it out. Even from a CGI cinematic, it is clear that a lot of time and resources are being put into the game... and hopefully that translates into a memorable experience. In development for the PC, PS4, PS5, X1 and XSX - MultiVersus is expected to launch in July 2022.
