Going right back to their roots with the franchise, next month, Nintendo will be releasing Mario Party Superstars for the Nintendo Switch. While the next major instalment in the franchise, this is designed to take players back to the Nintendo 64 era of the series, featuring maps from the first three games and approximately 100 remade minigames from the generation. During today’s Nintendo Direct livestream, we got a look at three boards being implemented into Mario Party Superstars.
These maps include:
- Woody Woods from Mario Party 3
- Yoshi’s Tropical Island from Mario Party
- Horror Land from Mario Party 2.
Together with the previously unveiled Peach’s Birthday Cake from Mario Party and Space Land from Mario Party 2, this will cap up the five boards expected to be available at launch.
Mario Party Superstars will also feature the minigame mode Mt. Minigames, which includes the competitive Survival course and the cooperative multiplayer course Tag Match, among other courses.
