During this morning’s Nintendo Direct livestream event, it was confirmed that post-launch development has not concluded for Animal Crossing: New Horizons more than a year and a half after launch. While specifics are being left until a dedicated Animal Crossing Direct livestream… the small preview we received did confirm the return of a long-requested feature in the next major game update.
The museum is one of the landmark elements of any Animal Crossing game, giving gamers the chance to showcase all the fish, fossils, bugs, art and other things you collect while tending to the whims of your Villagers and playing as a money bank for Tom Nook. But in past games, it has also been a place where you can grab a coffee, enjoy a tune and pass the time chatting to ol’ Brewster.
Nintendo has confirmed that both The Roost coffee house and Brewster will be featured in the next update. No specifics on what new mechanics or systems this introduces, but stay tuned for more information as it is made available!
