Horizon Zero Dawn’s Aloy To Feature in Genshin Impact as 5-Star Playable Character

Not experiencing good odds when trying to pull 5-star characters from Genshin Impact’s wish gacha system? Have you enjoyed Guerrilla Games’ PS4/PC open-world action-RPG Horizon Zero Dawn? Would you like to bolster your party with a 5-star collaboration character? If you responded “YES!” to any combination of the three, then you may be interested in the newest collaboration event announced by MiHoYo.

Announced to coincide with the launch of Genshin Impact Version 2.0, MiHoYo made the surprise announcement that the open-world adventure-platformer’s first collaboration event would be Horizon Zero Dawn. Starting from Version 2.1, the legendary hunter Aloy will join the Genshin Impact character roster as a five-star character. Players across PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, PC, Android, and iOS can obtain this new five-star character for free within a limited time.

In addition to her extraordinary archery abilities, Aloy has also acquired a Cryo Vision in this world and can wield unique elemental power in combat and exploration. In Version 2.1, Aloy will be featured as a new five-star character “Savior From Another World” who joins the Traveler in unravelling the secrets of Teyvat.

“Savior From Another World” Aloy will be provided free of charge to Genshin Impact players, with exclusive early access for players on PlayStation. During Version 2.1, players who have reached Adventure Rank 20 or above can receive Aloy via in-game mail after logging in to the game on PS5 or PS4. Keep in mind that with the release of Version 2.0, players can log into their PC accounts from the PS4/PS5 and vice versa.

Meanwhile, other players can receive Aloy via in-game mail after logging in to the game on any available platform during Version 2.2. A free four-star Bow that gives Aloy a special buff can also be obtained exclusively on PlayStation during Version 2.1 and Version 2.2 for players who reached Adventure Rank 20 or above.

More details about this collaboration event will be shared in the weeks and months leading to Genshin Impact Version 2.1 going live.
